I’ve been acting since my college days, and really enjoy the entire process of rehearsing, and analyzing the story, my role as an actor, and my relationship with the other actors in the play, the directors’ eye, and the overall cast and crew. Acting is a real collaborative process, even when you’re doing a monologue, since you still need feedback and guidance in rehearsal, if you want to really connect with the material, and the audience. Casting directors , and other interested parties can access an acting reel, and musical theater reel here. You can review my resume by clicking on my resume link at the beginning of this paragraph.
The following are some photos of recent theatrical performances as an actor in SISTER ACT and NEWSIES.
2019
My 2019 was primarily focused on two shows. SISTER ACT at Performance Riverside, as Monsignor O’Hara, and then as Joseph Pulitzer in the THEATER ROYALE’s regional tour of NEWSIES , which played at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, CA, the beautiful state of the art SAROYA theater at Cal State University, Northridge, and the historical William Saroyan theater in Fresno, CA. I was then cast again as Pulitzer in the Candlelight Pavillion production of NEWSIES, which has run from the beginning of October through November,23rd, 2019. It’s been a real pleasure to have worked with both casts, and production teams. I like playing Pulitzer. It’s a good acting role in a dynamically exciting and energetic musical, filled with great dancing and a wonderful score. I now have over 45 performances as Pulitzer under my wig, and it’s a role that I seem to do well, and will be happy to play again.
Strange, but I didn’t think I was this busy in 2018.
